The expandable ITX chassis

The Phanteks Evolv Shift XT is a truly unique small form-factor chassis that extends to tailor the cooling performance to your need. Even in its ultra-compact mode there is no compromise on performance with support for powerful hardware such as 324mm long triple-slot GPUs and 72mm tall CPU air coolers.

The Evolv Shift XT has the unique capability to extend the height of the chassis to boost the air-cooling performance with two 120 or 140 fans at the top. When fully extended the Evolv Shift XT can house a 240 radiator in the top to cool even the most powerful systems.

Being part of the Phanteks Evolv series, the Evolv Shift XT offers premium build quality and components using 2.5mm thick anodized aluminum panels, double-layer PCI-e x16 Gen4 riser cable and USB-C Gen2 front IO. Performance is uncompromised with Ultra-Fine Mesh panels and vented aluminum panels while providing a clean and stylish appearance with the tempered glass Digital-RGB infinity mirror.

Unique small form-factor chassis that extends into 3 sizes

With the unique capability to extend the chassis size you can tailor the cooling performance to your need. Go for the compact configuration if you desire a small high performance system or extend the height of the chassis in ‘Air Boost’ or ‘Liquid Cooled’ mode. The height is increased by 32 or 60mm respectively. This allows for either 2x 120/140mm fans or a 240 AIO liquid cooler to be installed for the best possible performance.

Extend the chassis with ease

The Shift XT can be extended easily by repositioning two screws and adding a rear cover.

High performance double-layer Gen4 x16 riser cable
The Shift XT comes with the latest high performance Gen4 x16 Riser Cable equipped with some unique features:

• Double-layered cable design for a stable PCI-e Gen4 signal.
• Individual shielding for every wire to prevent interference.
• Secure 180 degrees brackets to prevent bending the cable back and forth during use.
• Secure mounting on the motherboard side with the included Riser Lock.

High-end GPU support for 3-slot, 324mm long GPUs
Being a compact SFF chassis does not mean you have to compromise on gaming performance. The Evolv Shift XT has a built-in Gen4 x16 Riser Cable and supports up to 324mm long 3-slot GPUs. This means it supports the popular ASUS STRIX 3000/6000 series GPUs. The Ultra-fine Performance Mesh panels provide direct fresh air to the GPU cooler for optimum cooling performance.

72mm CPU air cooler clearance
The maximum supported CPU cooler height is 72 mm measured from the CPU IHS to the mesh side panel of the chassis. This means various CPU coolers with 120mm fans are supported.

240 AIO liquid cooler support
In the Liquid Cooled configuration, the Shift XT supports a 240 radiator in the top for optimum cooling performance. With a clearance of 60 mm, there is plenty of space for most 240 AIO coolers, like our Phanteks Glacier One 240MP.

Fully vented exterior design
To ensure the Shift XT gets enough cooling in all of its configurations, all sides of the chassis are fully vented. This means even in its compact passive cooling configuration your system will get enough cool air. The Ultra-Fine Performance Mesh side panels provide dust filtered air intake while the vented aluminum panels mostly allow hot air to exhaust.

Easy to build SFF chassis

The Evolv Shift XT distinguishes itself from other SFF cases by its build experience. Because the chassis of the Evolv Shift XT is open from the sides and the top, all components can be easily accessed and installed. The top radiator brackets swings open so the chassis can even be opened completely with a fully build system inside for easy maintance.

Convenient access to cables
Unlike some SFF chassis, all cables are directly accessible, which makes it easier to install and manage each cable. The Evolv Shift XT also offers dedicated space for cable management behind and below the PSU.

Velcro tie cable management
There are multiple velcro ties and zip location in the Shift XT for easy cable management.

Organise cables to motherboard
The hook in the middle of the chassis can be used to route most cables to the motherboard neatly. Also the SATA cable to the SSD on the other side of the chassis can be routed through this hook.

Organise power cables
Use the velcro tie on te back of the front panel to bind the 24-pin cable to the corner of the chassis.

Secure the graphics card
The GPU can be secured with a velcro tie. Wrap the velcro tie around the PCI-e power connectors to hold it securely in position. If the GPU is very short, this is not necessary.

The Evolv Shift XT is made to stand apart wherever you place it. Its 2.5mm thick aluminum exterior panels are crafted and finished with high precision to combine great airflow performance with a premium appearance.

Tempered glass infinity mirror with software free D-RGB controller
The tempered glass front panel houses a Digital-RGB Infinity Mirror that is revealed even more as you extend the Evolv Shift XT chassis height. The lighting can be controlled with the integrated D-RGB controller. No software required, it just works.

High speed front USB ports
The front I/O can be accessed by moving the lower front panel up. The Evolv Shift XT features two USB ports:

Ultra-fine performance mesh side panels
Phanteks’ Ultra-Fine Performance mesh side panels allow high airflow while keeping dust out.
